SHAKESPEARE, William. ?? LEE, Sidney (1859?1926), introduction. [Poems]: Pericles [and] Passionate Pilgrim. Oxford: The Clarendon Press, 1905. 2 volumes, square 8vo (254 x 203 mm). Half?titles, collotype facsimile leaves of the first editions ?which found no place in the first folio? (Jaggard) that were taken from copies held at the Bodleian Library and the Christie Miller Library at Britwell. Both uniformly bound in full limp vellum gilt (several ties lacking). LIMITED EDITIONS, numbers 53 and 187 of 1000 copies that was originally issued in 5 volumes and included a volume signed by Lee. These works formed a supplement to the facsimile of the First Folio issued by Oxford University Press in 1902.
