[SIDESHOW ILLUSION]. Spidora Photograph. [Germany, ca. 1906]. Sepia tone image of the sideshow illusion invented by Roltair. A giant spider with a human head is perched atop an enormous web stretched over a set of stairs. Boudoir card format, plain mount, 9 ? x 6 ??. Contemporary caption to verso reads, ?Adalbert Bauers Wunderspinne circa 1906.? Rubber stamp of George Kent to verso.
