Six Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Posters. 20th century. Six color advertisements and half-sheets for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus. Includes a window card. Chicago: 123 Empire Poster Printing Co., 1950s. Color cardstock window display advertising the Greatest Show on Earth at the Ice House March in New Jersey. Image depicts an elephant standing on a podium as two monkeys in clown attire perform tricks around him. Designed by Lawson Wood. With five half-sheets. Including a poster for Don?t Miss Mister Mistin? and the Ringling Bros. in Harrisburg (3 examples, in various colors). Largest 28 x 21?. Unmounted. Restoration across versos. B-/C+.
