[SLAVE DOCUMENTS] Two American Slave Documents. Including a 1773 manuscript inventory of items to be auctioned from the New York estate of a William Crawford, including a ?negro wench / private sale? (document separated at fold, repairs with tape), approx. 7 ? x 9 ??; and the 1816 manuscript will of a Benjamin Biddell, leaving property including six slaves to his family (separated at fold, small tears), approx. 7 ? x 12 ??.
