Soldier Field Auto Races Checkerboard Flag. [Chicago, ca. 1930s-40s]. One-sided flag or banner with a race car (not a stock car - a later design) at center. 11 ? x 18". Edgeworn, some marginal fraying, toning, some soiling, creasing. Very good. A rare souvenir flag. Soldier Field held auto races from 1935-1968, including weekly stock car races (this isn't one of the more common stock car flags).
