Spirit Seance and Materialization Painting. A spirit medium tied to a chair and blindfolded in the lower left corner materializes two ghosts at the center of the scenes with a background of planets, and the sun's rays, with a cityscape beside the medium in the background. Signed and dated by Roy Cameron in 1930 in the lower right. Framed to 31 1/2 x 21 1/2". Cracquelure evident, but not examined out of frame. A well-executed painting executed at the height of spiritualism's popularity.
