New York: Covici Friede Publishers, [1937]. 8vo. 186, [4, blank] pp. Publisher?s full beige cloth, front board and spine stamped in brown and black, publisher?s unclipped (?$2.00?) dust jacket (cloth spine a bit dull, some minor soiling, gutter facing half-title starting; jacket spine toned and chipped, flaps with some creasing, jacket panels with edgewear and some light chipping, a few creased tears to jacket panels). A near fine copy in a good jacket. FIRST EDITION OF THE NOVEL, FIRST ISSUE.
