STEVENS, William Dodge (1870-1942). Teamwork Builds Ships. Boston: Forbes, ca. 1918. WW1 home-front work incentive poster depicts muscular workmen finishing the bright orange hull of a ship. 36 ? x 49?. Several areas of heavy over-painting to right side of image; scattered repaired tears. Linen backed. B+/B. Strikingly similar to the later industrial photography of Lewis Hine and Margaret Bourke-White, most closely echoed in Hine?s ?Power House Mechanic.?
