STOWE, Harriet Beecher (1811?1896). Autograph letter signed (?H. B. Stowe?) to Mr. Page, 8 October 1879. 4 pp. on 2 leaves (written on both recto and verso, 8vo, 216 x 140 mm, old folds, toning. Stowe enthusiastically discusses her Bay View House in Florida?and gives her well wishes to the recipient?s family, at one point writing, ?I am free to say that the Bay View House at Terry Beach?is the most desirable and attractive of any I know along the shore.?
