Sucker Beaker Vanish. London: Arthur Culpin, ca. 1955. Wooden stencil-painted stand with felt cover, chrome tube and rings. A beaker of milk vanishes from under a tube even as the spectator is aware of the stand''s false bottom. Like the more popular ?expose? vanish, the audience is amazed to learn where the beaker has gone, despite being ?let in? on the secret. Hallmarked. Sold together with a print autographed portrait postcard of Culpin.
