Original yellow-beige cloth stamped in blue and red, red top stain, first issue unclipped pictorial dust jacket. All points for first state present (title-page in red and black, copyright page with the printer?s name, no book club deboss mark and back rear board, jacket with no blurbs beneath the photo of Steinbeck on back panel). 8vo. Creasing with minor rubbing to extremities, some discoloration to joints, slightly cocked. Goldstone-Payne A33.b.
