SYMONDS, John Addington (1840?1893). Walt Whitman: A Study. London: John C. Nimmo, 1893. Royal 8vo (222 x 171 mm). Half?title, five photogravure plates with tissue guards including frontispiece. Half crushed brown levant, raised bands, elaborate gilt fleuron tooling and titles in compartments, top edge gilt, others uncut, linen endpapers. FIRST EDITION in a handsome binding.
