Marolles, Michel de. Tableaux du Temple des Muses Tirez du Cabinet de feu M. Favereau. Amsterdam: Abraham Wolfgank, 1676. 18th century smooth calf with remnants along spine of floral gilt tooling. Engraved frontispiece. 58 engraved plates by Cornelius Bloemart after drawings of subjects from classical mythology by Abraham Van Diepenbeeck commissioned by Jacques Favereau. Large 8vo. [20], 476, [6]. Spine leather mostly missing or rotted; text block itself still intact, front board starting, boards completely rubbed with bumped corners and two small gashes to rear board, interior generally clean.
