THE AWAKENING OF THE FLOWERS OR FAIRY ROSE WONDER. Hamburg: Carl Willmann, ca. 1914. A bouquet of feather flowers gradually blooms and opens, at its apex revealing a borrowed watch hanging from the centermost floral display. The watch, just moments before, vanished from the conjuror?s hand. The original flowers supported by a heavy brass stand, the mechanism activated with a clockwork motor. Height (open) approx. 27?. Rare; the first we have encountered.
