Morrison, Toni. The Bluest Eye. New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston, [1970]. First edition of the author?s first book. Blue cloth-backed boards. Original unclipped first state jacket ($5.95 price and 1070 code at bottom of front flap). 8vo. Minor wear at jacket folds, tiniest of chips and two very small tears at extremities of jacket, else fine. A modern rarity.
