Brown, Warren. The Chicago Cubs. New York: G.P. Putnam?s Sons, 1946. First edition, first printing, signed in pencil to ffep by six players from the 1946 Cubs: Stan Hack, Bobby Sturgeon, Emil Kush, Hal Manders, Clyde McCullough, Billy Jurges, Bill Nicholson, and two unidentified players. Original grey-blue cloth lettered and decorated in light blue along spine, unclipped pictorial dust jacket. 8vo. Scattered chipping and rubbing to extremities with some joint separation at ends of spine panel, moderate staining to ffep partially affecting signatures.
