Inscription on half-title: ?From the ?Author?/in remembrance of a short meeting??.Harmsworth? and followed by a quote from Tennyson. All first state points present (page vi mis-numbered ii and ?auctioneers? mis-spelled ?auctoineers? on page 1, line 21). 8vo. Frontispiece. Illustrated. Spine slight cocked, ex libris, some foxing; mostly at ends.
