The Pioneer Circus of the World John Robinson?s Circus. [Erie: Erie Lithographing and Printing Co., ca. 1910s-1930s]. Gouache on three panels, all on one board, with a painted paper portrait of Robinson affixed to center, surrounded by numerous performers and wild animals. Board 15 ? x 29?. Two vertical and one horizontal creases visible, some wear, soiling. Fine. Basis of John Robinson?s color lithographed letterhead.
