[London: Day and Son, 1855-6]. 4to. Housed in a morocco-backed folding box. Comprises the finest views and scenes from the work, including 3 plates of the Pyramids and Sphinx; 19 of Luxor, Thebes and the Valley of the Kings; 9 of Dendera, Edfo, Esna and Kom-Ombo; 5 of the Island of Philae; 3 of Abu Simbel; 2 maps of Roberts? Routes; 17 of Cairo; 4 of Alexandria; 10 of Jerusalem, Nazareth and Bethlehem; 5 of Baalbek; 9 of Patra; and 2 of the Convent of Saint Catherine. (Few plates with very light, scattered spotting, closed horizontal tear to right border of Plate 204, archival repaired, few small dampstains to right upper borders of 13 plates, all images unaffected).
