Trio of Egyptian Revival Items. Circa 1920s. Includes pocket knife and two dance card pens in the style of ancient Egyptian sarcophagi. Length 3?. Following the discovery of Tutankhamen?s tomb in November 1922, a wave of ?Egyptomania? swept the Western world, with everything from earrings to dresses to common household items designed in the style of the many wonderful objects being cataloged and removed from the tomb on a seemingly daily basis.
