Two Hair Service Signs. Circa 1920s. Two reverse painted glass signs advertising shampoo washing and marcelling services. Marcelling is a styling technique where hot curlers are used to induce a finger wave. It was a popular style during the 1920s, worn by women such as Josephine Baker and Bebe Daniels. Framed. 9 1/8 x 25?. Chipping to frames, scratching to glass.
