Laurel, Stan. Typed Letter, Signed by Stan Laurel. Dated November 27, 1959. Laurel writes on stationery from the Oceana Apartment Hotel, discussing subjects as varied as the tape recorder he uses, John Wayne and his film The Fighting Kentuckian, and the final Laurel & Hardy Film, Utopia, which he comments on as being ?... the worst we ever made. We had a lot of trouble on that one, due to language barrier? I was in hospital for eight weeks during the film? never thought I?d manage to finish the picture.? One sheet with original mailing cover, reinforced with tape, old mounting remnants to verso. Signed ?Stan Laurel.?
