Original pictorial dark green cloth stamped in white and gilt?lettered (spine slightly skewed, else fine). FIRST AMERICAN EDITION of this ?rather bizarre and undervalued novel? (Jean?Jules Verne, Jules Verne p. 173) and a ?remarkable feat of psychological projection? (Bleiler). A BRIGHT COPY. Bleiler, p. 199; Myers 8.
