VERNON, Dai (David Verner, 1894 ? 1992). Dai Vernon Silhouette Presentation Folder. New York, 1928. Handsome presentation folder for silhouettes cut by ?Mr. & Mrs. Winfield Vernen? during their tenure as popular ?silhouettists? in Manhattan. The couple worked at parties under the agency of Frances Rockefeller King, and after cutting the silhouette of a party-goer, would paste the likeness into one of these folders making a lovely keepsake of the evening. 8vo. Very good. These folders are SCARCE.
