[Vernon, Dai] Ganson, Lewis. The Dai Vernon Book of Magic. London: Unique Magic Studio, [1957]. Restricted first edition, inscribed and signed by Vernon to Dr. John Henry Grossman and numbered copy 21 on the ffep. Typed and signed card from Vernon?s son Derek mounted on same page; color snapshot of Vernon at the 1978 S.A.M. Convention laid in. Original pebbled maroon leather, dust-jacket. Marbled endsheets, tipped-in leaf gilt leaf bearing a facsimile letter to the reader by Vernon, present only in the restricted edition. Illustrated with photographs. 8vo. Chipping and tears to jacket, otherwise very good. Bookplate of Dr. Grossman.
