- Lot Description
Vintage Pick-Up Covers and Tubes. Circa 1900. Three cones with upper finials, one large tube, and one decorated cover, all used in the performance of various magic tricks, including the production, vanish, and transposition of oranges, handkerchiefs, or other small objects. One cone outfitted with a mechanical pick-up feature, activated by a concealed button near the tip of the cone. Five pieces total, constructed from heavy lacquered board with raised decorations, in the form of playing card pips. Tallest 8 ??. Minor paint wear, but good overall.
