VIRGIL (Virgil Harris Mulkey, 1900 ? 89). The Great Virgil?s Egyptian Stage Lamp and Table. Los Angeles: F.G. Thayer, 1940s. A Thayer-made Colonio model table with added electrified hand painted lamp with matching shade, and three plaster statuettes of the Egyptian sarcophagi at the perimeter of the tabletop. Height 62?. Owned and used by Virgil as a set decoration in his illusion show.
