Waddel Play Ball Large Countertop Trade Stimulator. Greenfield, OH: Waddel Wooden Ware Works, ca. 1894-1897. Wooden countertop cigar store trade stimulator in wooden cabinet, glass windows over game area and rear slots (window has hinged lid), with metal score tabs; when a small ball is inserted at front, it drops over the game area (with pins) and raises a score tab to determine how many cigars the player gets. When the rear drawer opens, a bell rings; when you lift a wooden rod, the balls drop into the drawer below. 19 ? x 17 ? x 24". Some wear, scuffing. Locks (no key). Working. A very good example of this very rare and large trade stimulator.
