Photographs, route books, scrapbooks, and circus costumes will be also be offered, spanning the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Walter L. Main Circus elephants photograph. Claremont, NH: Powers Studio, 1920s. Silver print photograph depicting a row of seven circus elephants and their trainers, and Walter L. Main wagons and equipment in the background. Studio embossed credit lower right. Annotated on reverse: "W. L. Main Show / Downie / 1922."
In a contemporary card mount, sight 6 1/2 x 10 1/2" overall 11 x 15".
