Warhol?s Cat Automaton. Cornwall: Fourteen Balls Toy Co., 2015. The wide-eyed cat uses one claw in his attempt to open the can of Campbell?s soup in his paws. As the crank is turned, the cat?s head spins, his tail wags, the can turns, and the cat?s tongue wags back-and-forth. The cat hand painted and carved from lime wood. Mechanism with a clever ratchet design. Designed and constructed by Matt Smith. Height 9?. Hallmarked and signed by the maker.
