Waterproof Playing Card Co. Circular Deck. Boston, ca. 1895. 52 + J + OB. Early circular deck by the Boston maker with an address at 50 Bromfield Street. Yellow and black backs. An uncommon joker. Diam. 3 ??. Light spotting and edgewear. Box worn with old tape repairs. Hochman O15. The manufacturer?s name, Waterproof, is rather puzzling given that the card are printed on plain paper cardstock, without even an enamel finish.
