Second Festival of the Sons of New Hampshire, Celebrated in Boston, November 2, 1853; Including also an account of the proceedings in Boston on the day of the funeral at Marshfield, and the subsequent obsequies commemorative of the death of Daniel Webster, Their Late President. Boston: James French and Company, 1854. 8vo. Illustrated with frontispiece portrait of Marshall P. Wilder of the Executive Committee, and inserted engraved portrait of the organization?s vice president, Samuel Appleton. 229, [5, blank] pp. Publisher?s full purple cloth, boards decoratively paneled in blind, front board and spine stamped in gilt, yellow endleaves (spine and boards sunned some wear, soiling to binding, text and endleaves and plates foxed with occasional thumbsoiling). Very good. With the ownership signature of Joseph H. Clark, organization member from Belknap County, listed on p. 219. FIRST EDITION. This is a rare account of the memorial services done by The Sons of New Hampshire in honor of Daniel Webster.
