WILSON, Jackie (b. 1934-1984). Signed single record. New York: Brunswick Radio Corp., ca. 1960. Record single, signed by Wilson on label on one side (with the song, ?Night?; the song ?Doggin? Around? is on the other side. Single is in the original record company?s printed sleeve. Record size: approximately 7? in diameter. Some wear, soiling to record and labels (signature is bold), some rubbing, wear to sleeve. Very good. Wilson was nicknamed ?Mr. Excitement? due to his dynamic and energetic performance style and was a key figure in the transition of Rhythm and Blues into Soul music. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the R&B Music Hall of Fame. Provenance: The Bo Overlock Collection.
