- Lot Description
Window Display Automaton for "Greensmith's Derby Dog Biscuits." Harlequin figure in cloth costume with cloth hat and cotton-like hair, with baton and (loose) hoop, and with two small dogs (one is hand-painted and sculpted - both dogs are loose on the platform). Figure is on wooden platform with mechanism hidden within. When plugged-in, harlequin waves baton around and his head swivels and bows. With (later) on/off switch on rear of platform and a (later) speed control sliding switch inside platform box. Approximately 38 (with hat) x 17 x 22". Working.
Condition
Some wear, movement can be a bit jerky when the speed is maximized. Still, fine.
