[WIZARD OF OZ]. MGM Pictures Engagement Pass issued to Col. Casper, a Munchkin actor in The Wizard of Oz. Culver City, CA: 1938. Pale pink cardstock pass (2 ? x 3 9 1/16?). Issued to Col. Casper (Casper Balsam, 1904-1968), dated 11 November 1938, for the production of The Wizard of Oz. SIGNED by Col. Casper on the reverse. Balsam, who stood just over 3 feet tall, played a Munchkin in the film. A RARE piece of ephemera; we could locate no other passes for the film previously at auction.
