WOOLRICH, Cornell (1903?1968). Typed letter signed (?Cornell?) to his literary Agent, H. N. Swanson. New York, New York, March 31, 1947. One page, 8vo (229 x 152 mm), on Hotel Marseilles stationery. Woolrich writes to Swanson in regard to negotiations of selling his stories in which he declines an offer of $2,500 for Steps Going Up but is pleased for the quote of $50,000 given to Paramount for Waltz into Darkness. Woolrich never lived to see his novel become adapted into a film as it wasn?t until 2001 when it was produced by Via Rosa Productions under the new title of ?Original Sin? starring Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie.
