You Can?t Jail the Revolution / Stop the Trial / Free the Conspiracy 8. Chicago, ca. 1968. Poster in support of the Chicago 8 (or, as here, Conspiracy 8) who were charged with conspiracy for protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. The image evokes the Black Power salute of gold medalist Tommie Smith at the 1968 Summer Olympics. 24 x 20?. Small hole center right, folds, damp-soiling, and contemporary adhesive marks to corners.
