- Lot Description
An orange face mask with with open oval-shaped eyes accentuating heavy brows, an open mouth with teeth bared, and a nose with flaring nostrils. Ridged incised bands of scarification extends from the upper cheek to the lower jaw on both sides of the face and from the central forehead in a vertical line to the eyebrows. Nigeria, Idoma. 20th century. 9"h.
Condition: Excellent with signbs of wear and use
