14k gold and patinated steel in biomorphic/Japanesque form with six OEC diamonds, approx. .60 ct. TW, secured by tiny steel beads. Impressed mark Tiffany & Co. 1 3/4". 7.5 dwt. Provenance: Stokes Family Collection, Princeton, NJ. Note: The combination of barrel hinge and bullet clasp indicate that this brooch was probably made between 1911 and 1924 and may be an example of Artistic Jewelry designed under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany.
Some damage to barrel hinge. Mark struck poorly (I do not understand this piece).
