The United Daughters of the Confederacy awarded the Southern Cross of Honor medal to ex-Confederate soldiers who were members of the United Confederate Veterans in recognition of their devotion to the southern cause. ... plus, (6) A reunion medal, 1-1/2” square, United Confederate Veterans, Jacksonville, Fla, May 6, 7, 8, 1914. The center gold tone disc carries an enameled Confederate flag.
