L. Pierre Bottner (born Lawrence Phillip Bottner) was a self-promoted itinerant American artist. He styled himself with the name L. Pierre Bottner. Bottner created oil paintings, sketches and silhouettes. He was a sketch artist at the trial of Lindbergh kidnapper Bruno Richard Hauptmann.The Diary starts “1933, L. Pieere Bottner, Born 1914, Traveling Artist ...”, 186pp of which +/- 150pp are written. The first 87 pages are filled with +/- autographed flattering comments to Bottner.
