Gold signet seal with a stone that is possibly citron. Stone engraved with a bird with spread wings atop a seal with two hog heads, a downturned crescent moon, and ten stars. The Latin phrase "In Altum" (On High) is written on a scroll beneath the crest. Marked illegibly along the bottom of the signet and dated 5 July 1815. A seal like this could be worn on the end of a pocket watch chain. Height: 1 1/2 in x width: 1 in x depth: 3/4 in.
