Large group of pages from a variety of early atlases. The majority are from two atlases: Mallet and "Della Geografia di Tolomeo." Maps from Mallet include including maps of Asia, eastern India, China, Korea, Novaya Zemlya, St. Thomas, Ceylon, the Maldives, North Africa, Taprobane Island (Sri Lanka), the Sunda Islands (Indonesia), Reunion, Waigat Straits (Greenland); with several pages of German text. Girolamo Ruscelli (ca. 1504-1566) and Giuseppe Rosaccio (1530-1620), "Della Geografia di Tolomeo," Venice, 1699. Maps from this atlas include maps of Asia, Europe, South America, Romania and Macedonia, Russia, several regions of Italy, including Ancona and Schiavonia, Anatolia, France,
