18th - 19th Century Indo-Persian Ceremonial Steel Shield, helmet and arm guard; shield has four studs, convex polychromed structure; cartouches feature landscape scenes with figures. Surround with a band of calligraphy. Helmet Kulah Khud, neck chain mail, large domed steel skull, twin plume holders, nose guard. Polychromed structure; cartouches feature landscape scenes with figures. Surround with a band of calligraphy. Arm guard has polychromed structure; cartouches feature landscape scenes with figures.
Measures: Shield: 19 inch diameter; helmet 8 inch diameter x 6 inch height.
