(20) Sterling Silver Cups and Saucers - 10.785 ozt.. Lot of twenty sterling silver. Lot of twenty International Sterling Silver drinkware, including ten cups and matching saucers. Marked on base.

Weight: 10.785 ozt.International Sterling Silver is a line of fine sterling silverware produced by the International Silver Company, an American firm formed in 1898 through the merger of numerous New England silversmiths, including Holmes & Edwards, Rogers, and Meriden Britannia. Made of 92.5% pure silver alloyed with 7.5% other metals for strength, International Sterling became widely known for its high-quality flatware and hollowware in both traditional and modern patterns, often reflecting changing American tastes throughout the 20th century. The company produced everything from elegant tea sets to everyday cutlery, combining machine production with skilled hand-finishing to achieve both durability and decorative appeal. International Sterling pieces are marked with the company name and “Sterling,” and they remain prized for their craftsmanship, design variety, and place in the history of American domestic silver.
