(5) Art Pottery Vases. Five art pottery vases in various styles from various studios, including Saxbo and Rookwood Pottery.
Tallest Size: 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 9 1/2 in.
Art pottery refers to decorative ceramics created primarily for aesthetic rather than purely functional purposes, emerging as a significant movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Influenced by the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements, art pottery emphasized handcrafted techniques, artistic glazes, and intricate designs, often inspired by nature.
