After Bartalome Murillo (1617-1682) Spanish, Reproduction Oil on Canvas Baroque Genre Scene "Boys Playing Dice". aroque oil painting housed in a gilded fluted frame, depicting three young boys in ragged clothing gathered around a basket of fruit and a jug while playing a game on the ground. Unsigned. Framed.

Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (1617–1682) was a Spanish Baroque painter from Seville known for his warm, luminous style and deeply human religious imagery. He became one of the most celebrated artists of Spain’s Golden Age, painting tender scenes of the Virgin Mary, saints, and everyday life, often emphasizing compassion and gentle emotion. Murillo’s works—such as his famous depictions of the Immaculate Conception—are characterized by soft lighting, rich color, and graceful figures. In addition to religious paintings, he also portrayed poor children and street life in Seville with sympathy and realism. A founding member of the Academy of Fine Arts of Seville, Murillo had a major influence on Spanish art and remained highly admired across Europe for centuries.
