Carole Stupell Ltd. Sterling Silver and Pluma Azteca Plate - Gross 13.545 ozt. Imbedded rose and flower patterns fill the front, signed "Janna" and numbered 97/250 bottom right. The back displays the colorful Pluma Azteca technique in the base, where feathers are encased within resin to create a stained glass style effect. Title on back edge: "Mother's Day." "Hand Made Sterling" and "Carole Stupell Ltd. Collectors Society Limited Edition 1973" written on the opposite back edge.

Carole Stupell Ltd. is a design company based in New York City, specializing in creating unique and high-quality home accessories, gifts, and decorative items. The company was founded by Carole Stupell (1905-1996) in 1929, and her designs were characterized by their whimsical, colorful, and playful style. Stupell started her career as a graphic designer, but soon expanded her focus to include home decor and accessories, using bold colors, quirky patterns, and humorous slogans that made her goods popular with both adults and children. After her death the company continued until 2022, when it closed their brick-and-mortar location and focused solely on online sales due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
