Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Stacking Dishes. Blue and white four-layer round stacking bowls, hand painted cobalt decoration on white porcelain. With red wax export seal.
Size: 6 x 6 x 5 1/2 in.
Chinese stacking bowls are a practical and visually appealing form of porcelain or ceramic tableware, designed to nest neatly for efficient storage and display. Often produced in Jingdezhen and other major ceramic centers, these bowls range from simple, utilitarian designs to elaborately decorated versions featuring painted scenes, floral motifs, or calligraphic inscriptions.
