Overall Size: 14 1/8 x 16 1/8 in.
Sight Size: 7 3/4 x 9 3/4 in.
Edward j. Cory is known nationally as the man who developed the concept of art for everyone. Later this trend was followed by vincent price at sears.
Cory contends that if people collect his paintings, after 100 years they'll have good collector's value, He was born in new york in 1912 and studied at new york university. For many years he has reen known as a speaker on art collecting or collecting art for nvestment. Cory believes he can best serve art by finding a market for artists' works and selling them to collectors. He paints not as a profession, but as a hobby. He believes everyone should find an outlet for the creative expression inherent in all of us. He has been compared to winston churchill, who also painted in the same fashion. Cory believes the greatest american artist is pat cucaro and compares him, as the critics do, to picasso.Condition
